Hawks pounce on another alleged training camp

MODIMOLLE - The Hawks have pounced on yet another possible military training camp in Modimolle.

The Hawks setup a sting operation, after receiving a tip-off about the suspicious training camp at a farm near the town in Limpopo.

Several licensed rifles, pistols, and ammunition believed to be used during firearms training, were seized.

Officials say the purpose of the training is not yet clear, but military related training cannot be ruled out.

They are also probing the manner in which the owners of the camp obtained the firearms and ammunition.
