HARRISMITH - Persistent wet weather in the Free State has resulted in some homes being flooded.
In the Free State, areas such as Warden and Harrismith have also experienced snowfall which had has had an impact on local businesses.
In other parts of the country such as the North West and Gauteng, the South African Weather Services has warned of severe thunderstorms, with possible hail and strong winds.
Meanwhile motorists traveling on the N3 are being urged to keep a safe following distance and to drive with caution.
