Hammanskraal community leader says Tshwane mayor is playing the blame game

TSHWANE - One community leader in Hammanskraal says Tshwane mayor Cilliers Brink is playing the blame game.

Fortune Mathabatha says the minister should invoke Section 63 of the Water Services Act to takeover water and sanitation services from Tshwane municipality.

He was speaking to Prof. JJ Tabane on Power To Truth..

Mathabatha said, ''there's a human rights commission report giving the timelines of the crisis, the problem is at Rooiwal waste water treatment plant, they know the problem lies with the administration."

"As residents we've been consistent in terms of raising concerns, as early as 2011, around 2014-15 financial year, they had prioritised R500-million when they came in they reversed all those processes."
