Gupta Extradition | Extraditions don't work like that - DA

JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance is not buying the Justice Department's version of events around the dismissal of the extradition attempt of the Gupta brothers.

The department has claimed that the United Arab Emirates left them in the dark about the decision.

DA's spokesperson for Justice and former NPA prosecutor Glynnis Breytenbach says that's not how extraditions work, and both the NPA and the justice department should know better.

According to Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola South Africans are being denied justice

Lamola says he was caught off guard and is shocked by the decision.
