Gupta associates case postponed

JOHANNESBURG - The R37.7 million fraud case against two associates of the Gupta brothers has been postponed in the Pretoria Regional Court.

Kamal Vasram and Saliesh Indurjeeth face charges linked to the failed Free State Estina Dairy Farm project.

Their charges include fraud and contravening the International Trade Administration and Regulation of the Exchange Control Acts.

They were arrested earlier this year.

The pair will return to court on 30 November for pretrial hearings and in March next year for trial.  

Vasram and Indurjeeth are out on R10,000 bail each.
