Public Works Minister Sihle Zikalala said two companies involved have been held accountable.

"Firstly, we have gone through the process led by SIU and the court order declared that we must recoup more than R15-million from those two companies.

"We are in the process of blacklisting the two companies and we have submitted the application to blacklist them to the Treasury," he said.

"We are also dealing with consequence management. Disciplinary actions are ongoing within the department and we believe criminal processes will then be enforced by the relevant department."
