JOHANNESBURG - Government is vowing to crush gender-based violence.
It's launched a 90-day blitz on the scourge.
It's also reconvened the Inter-ministerial Committee on GBV and femicide.
The Justice, Crime Prevention and Security cluster requested the President to reinstate it.
It says this will expedite responses and allow for tracking of progress.
