Gold One | Underground sit-in continues in Springs

JOHANNESBURG - Over 400 miners at Gold One Modder East mine in Springs have still not resurfaced.

They have been staging a sit-in since Thursday night.

The miners are upset over recent dismissals and the continued non-recognition of union AMCU.

But there have been some contention, with union leaders saying some workers are being held against their will.
