JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa's cabinet reshuffle has been on the cards for a while now.
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana's swearing-in as a Member of Parliament has again heightened expectations of a long-overdue announcement.
Godongwana was the only member of cabinet who was not a Member of Parliament.
He replaces Mike Basopu who recently resigned from the National Assembly.
There are several positions the president needs to fill including that of Transport Minister.
Fikile Mbalula has taken up a full-time role as ANC Secretary-General and is expected to be replaced as minister.
