JOHANNESBURG - Gift of the Givers Director, Dr Imtiaz Sooliman says they responded to earl morning calls from Gauteng EMS and Jobrug Fire Services to assist fire fighters with rescue efforts.
Sooliman says they will be supplying resuce workers with rehydration and energy enriched foods to sustain them in fire fighting in Johannesburg.
Team members from the group are also stationed at various hospitals around the city.
At least 64 people have died in a fire in the Jobrug CBD.
The death toll is expected to continue rising.
