JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng residents are being warned to expect water cuts as Rand Water implements the planned 30-hour maintenance of its infrastructure.
The project will take place between the early hours of Friday until Saturday.
The project entails the cross-connection of pipelines to revisers.
Rand Water says this is part of its strategy to refurbish and upgrade infrastructure to ensure sustainability.
Some residents in Tshwane, Ekurhuleni and Lesedi Hani will be affected.
It says affected municipalities should implement contingency measures ahead of the scheduled work.
