Gauteng still without an executive

JOHANNESBURG - Panyaza Lesufi has been re-elected as Gauteng Premier unopposed but it's still unclear who will make up his executive.

The ANC did not win an outright majority in the province and this could be adding to the delay in appointing a cabinet.

Gauteng residents aren’t too bothered about who will govern and form part of the executive, as all they want is service delivery and a safer province.

It's unclear when the new executive will be announced, but that announcement is expected in the next few days.
