JAGERSFONTEIN - Three people reportedly dead and over 30 injured after a dam wall collapsed in Jagersfontein.
The disaster occurred in the Free State mining town on Sunday morning.

The mine was sold by De Beers in 2010, to a company called Super Kolong.
Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe gave this update.
Mantashe said, "it's a preliminary report it not concrete numbers, it indicates that 28 people with minor injuries. Four people in hospital and very critical. Three to five suspected causalities... it needs to be verified. Nine houses were swept away and 20 houses were completely damaged. Those are the numbers."
