DURBAN - Axed former eThekwini municipality deputy mayor, Philani Mavundla, is fighting to set aside the ANC's decision to cut short their coalition agreement.
Last week, Mavundla failed to survive a motion of no confidence tabled by the ANC and is now out of the executive.
He was back in court today to challenge his axing.
Mavundla says he will continue serving the people of eThekwini, despite the outcome of his court challenge.
