BUSHBUCKRIDGE - Mop-up operations continue in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, after violent storms accompanied by heavy winds on Sunday.
Over 500 households, schools, water, and electricity infrastructure were damaged.
Affected residents are calling on the government to assist as many cannot afford to repair their homes.

At least four people died.
The Basic Education Department says although measures are in place to proceed with final exams, their backlog for schools in need of repair keeps growing.
The provincial government insists disaster management teams have been deployed to offer food and blankets to those affected, until a more permanent solution is in place.
