CAPE TOWN - Evacuations continue in Cape Town and Paarl on Thursday morning.
The area was hit by heavy rains and strong winds on Wednesday.
The storms caused the Jakkalsvlei Canal and the Lourens and Keyser Rivers to burst their banks.
This has caused extensive damage with several roads and bridges affected.
Train services have also been disrupted with many pupils not being able to get to school.
The Weather Service is warning more rain and wind is expected on Thursday.
