Eusebius McKaiser dies aged 45

JOHANNESBURG - Political analyst, author and broadcaster Eusebius McKaiser has died aged 45.

It is believed he suffered an epileptic seizure in Johannesburg on Tuesday.

McKaiser was born and educated in Grahamstown.

He held a masters degree in law and philosophy from Rhodes University.

He also attended Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship where he did research on moral philosophy.

Mckaiser made his name as an analyst and public intellectual and gained prominence through his talk show on 702.

He authored three books and also hosted a show on this channel called Meet the Media With Eusebius Mckaiser.

McKaiser has been described as community-driven, committed to achieving victory over racism and homophobia.
