eThekwini Sewage Crisis | ActionSA warns of possible cholera outbreak in KZN

DURBAN - ActionSA says Durban might suffer the same fate as Hammanskraal as the eThekwini Municipality has failed to fix its sewerage system.

The party says the Municipality is not prioritising repairs to infrastructure, despite the allocation of R1.5 billion towards flood damage.

ActionSA filed papers in the Durban High Court against the metro for what it termed as a failure by the government to solve the crisis.

eNCA reached out to eThekwini Municipality but officials declined to comment saying this is an ongoing court case.
