eThekwini power cuts kick in

DURBAN - eThekwini’s exemption from power cuts has ended.

Small businesses are concerned about how this will impact their output and income.

The eThekwini municipality has officially implemented its new blackout schedule.

This will effectively see the metro falling in line with the rest of the country when it comes to power cuts.

Much like the rest of the country, eThekwini residents are now pleading with government to attend to the electricity issues with urgency.

For now, though, they’re being urged not to panic.
