eThekwini mayor survives no confidence vote

DURBAN - eThekwini mayor Mxolisi Kaunda has survived a motion of no confidence against him.

The EFF, ANC and other minority parties were against the motion.

126 councillors voted against the motion.

The council is observing the nomination and election process for the current vacant positions including the deputy mayor position which has been vacant since last year.
