JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has announced that power cuts will again be pushed to Stage 6.
This is the second time the power supplier has had to implement stage 6 in less than a week.
Citing the replenishing of emergency reserves, Eskom says it will alternate between Stage 4 and 6 until Saturday morning.

This could leave some areas having electricity for only two hours before it goes out, as that was the case this past weekend.
Businesses and residents are having it hard as they try to keep up with the inconsistent schedule.

The power utility says it is keeping a close eye on its system and will communicate any changes to the current planned stages for the next coming days.
