JOHANNESBURG - The Hawks Serious Corruption Investigation has arrested an Eskom project manager in Mpumalanga for fraud and corruption.
The 36-year-old is accused of taking a R50,000 bribe to give Luthando Engineering a tender last year.
The tender was for the installation of lights at Eskom’s Kriel Power Station.
The suspect was arrested on Thursday outside the Power Station after Hawks received information that he was transporting money to the service provider.
He will appear in the Middelburg Special Commercial Crime court on Monday.
