JOHANNESBURG - Eskom says power cuts will resume on Monday morning after being suspended for Christmas.
Stage 1 blackouts will be implemented from 5am tomorrow, until further notice.
The power utility says that stage one is only possible because of the lower demand for electricity which has reduced reliance on emergency generation reserves.
The embattled utility is, however, appealing to the public to use electricity sparingly.
