JOHANNESBURG - Last year was South Africa's worst year of power cuts on record and it doesn't look like 2023 will be any better.
Not two weeks into the new year and SA has already spent over 200 hours in darkness.
Eskom has now escalated power cuts to Stage 6 at night.
Stage 4 blackouts will be implemented from 5am every morning, until 4pm .
Stage 6 nightly power cuts will be implemented between 4pm and 5am.
This will be repeated daily until further notice.
