JOHANNESBURG - A short-term plan to address higher stages of rolling blackouts will be presented in the next few weeks.
This is according to Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramakgopa.

South Africans have expressed outrage at the country once again being plunged into Stage 6 power cuts.
Ramakgopa admits it isn't ideal.

"Two weeks from now we will be presenting to cabinet what are the interventions in the short-term to relieve higher stages of load-shedding and over time," Ramakgopa said.
"We had a conversation with Eskom, myself and Minister Gordhan...they've put together a winter plan....so we are confident we will come back understanding their anger...to avoid higher stages of load-shedding."
