EFF, ANC cracks emerge in Ekurhuleni

JOHANNESBURG - The ruling party might have another crisis on its hands, this time in Ekurhuleni.

Some of its members in the region have asked the ANC to reconsider its relationship with the EFF.

A letter to this effect written by the Ekurhuleni Acting Regional Chairperson was leaked.

ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula says Gauteng is handling the coalition agreement.

"Next week we'll convene a meeting with Ekurhuleni to go through the issues that they're raising and their concerns with regards to the coalition," Mbalula said.
