Education in Crisis | Wits students vow to intensify protests

JOHANNESBURG - Wits University students made their way to the East Campus amphitheater on Thursday.

They met to discuss a way forward following Thursday's protests against financial exclusion and lack of affordable accommodation.

In addition, they say they will intensify their action.

On Thursday shops in Braamfontein were forced to close after the protest spilled onto the streets.

Students say they will keep it up until their demands are met.
