EAST LONDON - EFF members have been ejected from the Eastern Cape's State of the Province Address.
Security services were called in after a scuffle broke out that disrupted Premier Oscar Mabuyane's speech.
The premier's SOPA comes amid staggering unemployment rates of 47.1 percent.
Members stormed into the precinct in efforts to raise issues faced by tertiary students.
One of the members says she was pushed.
Many students have been struggling to find accommodation since 31 January.
Students say they have been living in the hall without mattresses or other furniture.
They also claim that NSFAS has not paid for registration.
Students say they have tried communicated this to the Eastern Cape.
However the government is not addressing the situation.
