KARIEGA - A mother is grieving her 3-year-old child who died during severe storms that battered the Eastern Cape.
The death toll sits at eight while over 1,300 have been evacuated to community halls.
Eastern Cape Cogta MEC Zolile Williams spent the day assessing disaster areas.
