EASTERN CAPE - The government has no intention of neglecting the needs of victims of natural disasters.
That's a commitment from President Cyril Ramaphosa who was part of a delegation that visited Port St Johns in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday.
It follows the deaths of four people during last week's floods that left hundreds of people homeless and caused extensive damage to roads and bridges in the town.
Ramaphosa has promised to return to Port St Johns later this year to monitor progress in affected areas.
