CAPE TOWN - There will be zero-tolerance on Western Cape roads this Easter.
Authorities have launched its Easter Exodus Plan.
It will see higher police visibility on the roads as drivers are urged to adhere to the rules of the road.
Traffic officers are paying particular attention to long-distance transport but will also keep an eye on local routes.
The Western Cape is a popular tourist destination and authorities here say the addition of the highway patrol unit, with its use of up-to-date technology, is helping to keep transgressors in check.
