JOHANNESBURG - E-hailing drivers have been unhappy with their deal for some time now.
Operators say Uber and Bolt take too much commission, leaving them unable to make a profit.
The E-hailing Partners Council say attempts to get the Gauteng provincial government to intervene have been unsuccessful.

The E-hailing Partners' Council's Henry Mathebula said, "those meetings we had were not fruitful. Bold and Uber said they cannot do anything …. we’re operating under a loss."
"They dismissed us. Unfortunately the government is not coming through to assist us….we have serious concerns.”
