CAPE TOWN - Residents of Dunoon in Cape Town are picking up the pieces to rebuild following the fire that ripped through the Ekuphumleni informal settlement on Christmas.
It's just one of several fires in informal settlements in Cape Town recently.

On Thursday, a fire at the Joe Slovo settlement destroyed 100 structures, leaving at least 400 residents displaced.
Human Settlements Minister, Thembi Simelane, is in Cape Town, to engage settlement dwellers.
