JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has increasingly been seen as a key transit point for international drug syndicates.
No fewer than 14 people have been arrested at OR Tambo International Airport since August for drug smuggling.
Crime and security expert at the Institute for Security Studies, Willem Els attributes the arrests to cooperation between the South African police and their Brazilian counterparts.
Els discussed this situation with eNCA.
