JOHANNESBURG - Disgruntled Diepsloot residents have taken to the streets of Pretoria to air their frustrations.
They’re calling on President Cyril Ramaphosa to intervene and address the community over the level of crime and corruption in the area.
Reverend Thokwane Dithuge says they’ve had enough discussions, now is the time to walk the walk.
He said, "What’s happening there, none of you here knows what is happening there."
"People are dying weekly, we don’t want a smart talk, a government talk, a nice English talk, we want a solution for the people of Diepsloot now."
"We want someone senior, someone, who’s able to call the shots to meet with us."
