JOHANNESBURG - Deputy Minister in the Presidency Nonceba Mhlauli will hold a briefing, to give an update on the third quarter report of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative.
The multi-stakeholder initiative was launched in 2020 by President Cyril Ramaphosa, to address youth unemployment.
It aims to transition young people from learning to earning, through structured programs, funding mechanisms, and partnerships.
The country’s official unemployment is still stubbornly high at 32.1 percent.
