Deputy Minister of Labour comments on offline UIF services

JOHANNESBURG - Beneficiaries are frustrated as several Unemployment Insurance Fund portals remain offline.

They include uFiling, Unstructured Supplementary Service Data and Virtual Office.

When the fund tried to cut ties with the provider of these services, the contractor obtained a court interdict, stopping the appointment of a new one.

For more on this impasse, and measures being put in place to continue services, eNCA was joined by the Deputy Minister of Labour, Jomo Sibiya.
