JOHANNESBURG - Two days after Gauteng MPL Khume Ramulifo resigned from the Democratic Alliance, outspoken MP Ghaleb Cachalia has followed suit.

Cachalia and the DA have not seen eye to eye on the war in Gaza.
In his statement, Cachalia says his relationship with the DA has become increasingly uncomfortable.
He says the disagreement resulted in his dismissal from the DA shadow cabinet, and a cease-and-desist notification.
