DA: Gauteng provincial govt not serious about fighting corruption

JOHANNESBURG- The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the high levels of corruption in the health and PPE sector.

Several companies were reported to be part of this parasitic act.

However, not one of the companies has been blacklisted.

This includes those implicated by the SIU in R1-billion's worth of irregular spending at the Tembisa Hospital.

This was revealed by the Gauteng Health MEC, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko.

DA MPL Jack Bloom says it is a sign that the provincial government is not serious about fighting corruption.
