JOHANNESBURG - Still reeling from Cyclone Freddy, Mozambique is now facing the rising threat of cholera.
The flooding and damage to water infrastructure, have led to an increase in cases across eight provinces in Mozambique.
Over 2,000 have been confirmed in the last week alone.
Unicef spokesperson Guy Taylor says cholera, paired with high levels of child malnutrition in Mozambique, are a recipe for disaster.
