PRETORIA - Violence against women continues to increase.
Between July and September over 13,000 women have been victim to assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

This is according to the quarterly crime statistics released by Police Minister, Bheki Cele, on Wednesday
During the same period, over 10,00 rape cases were opened with the with the police.
