PRETORIA - Gauteng recorded the most arrests by the Hawks between January and March this year.
32 arrests were made in the province, followed by North West with 31 arrests.
Hawks head Lieutenant General Godfrey Lebeya released the crime statistics at a media briefing in Pretoria.
Lebeya has raised also concern about the killing of police officers.
He says a total of 22 police officials were killed in the 4th quarter in Gauteng.
