DURBAN - Seven police officers and an informant are set to appear in court on charges of extortion.
Four were arrested on Sunday by the DPCI’s Serious Corruption Investigation unit.
Four more were arrested on Tuesday morning.
The accused allegedly demanded R100,000 from a local business owner in exchange for his release.
