JOHANNESBURG - Police have arrested six suspects and recovered high-caliber firearms.
It's believed they were on their way to carry out a robbery in Sandton.
The suspects were intercepted in a courier company and Toyota bakkies.
They were found in possession of two loaded rifles and three pistols.
Police received a tip-off that the gang were using a marked courier truck.
Joburg Flying Squad members spotted the vehicles on the N1 South.
They were followed before being stopped and searched.
