JOHANNESBURG - Murder is on the rise in the Eastern Cape with a significant jump in the number of people killed between April and June.
The hotspot areas have been noted as Buffalo City Municipality, Nelson Mandela Bay, and O.R Tambo, specifically Mthatha.
That is where Namhla Mtwa was brutally murdered.
Mtwa was gunned down outside her home in April.
She was shot nine times.
