DURBAN - A Durban family is calling for justice after their son was murdered while in custody at the Tongaat police station.
According to his family, Thabiso Shangase, was an Uber driver who received a request for a ride, not knowing that the occupants were going to commit a crime.
He was arrested last week but his family says their son came out of the police station in a body bag.
It's still not clear how Shangase died while he was being held at the Tongaat police station.
The IPID says it's going to take at least three months for the investigation to conclude.
