DURBAN - Taxi violence in the Ugu District continues unabated despite the recent intervention from the national government.
Four people were murdered in the area last week.
On Friday, a taxi driver was shot in Nzimakwe while travelling with his girlfriend.

The following day, two women were murdered while a hitman opened fire on a second taxi driver, killing all three.
The victims are being laid to rest this weekend.
