JOHANNESBURG - Cosatu is embarking on a nationwide strike on Monday.
The federation wants to highlight the unemployment and economic crisis.
Pickets will be held at various venues.
They include the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the Reserve Bank and Parliament.
The strike action by coincides with the International Day of Decent Work.
Affiliated unions, including Sactwu and Saccawu, are expected to join the strike.
