JOHANNESBURG - Trade federation union Cosatu and its affiliates are fed up with the multiple crises facing the country.
They will take to the streets nationwide on Thursday.
They're protesting against crime, unemployment, poor governance, corruption and rolling blackouts, among other things.
Cosatu says these socio-economic problems are suffocating the economy and plunging workers into debt and misery.
It says it's raised workers' frustration with both the government and private sector but there's been little response.

It also says workers are bleeding from the government’s slack response to policy failures.
The union says its unacceptable that after nearly 30 years of democracy, the country remains the world’s most unequal society.
It believes decisive action is needed as workers are running out of patience.
