JOHANNESBURG - Cosatu President Zingiswa Losi says the trade union federation will use its 14th Congress to do have frank discussions and to ask difficult questions.
Losi also says there is no excuse for the ongoing rolling blackouts.
Losi said, "people must account you can't have excuse now and again that it is Kusile this. ...Where are the problems? Who are the people who are supposed to be mending this?"
"We can't have the leadership where there are no consequences."
"We expect the president to act on the leadership of Eskom.. on the board we can't proceed like this...how do you expect economy to grow?"
"How do you expect investments to be made in country that its economy cannot guarantee energy? No investor will have the appetite to come and invest here when we can't guarantee?"
"We moved from stage one to stage six in six days and then you expect that investors to come. And we are hear to say if you to build the economy the energy is at the centre of us being able to do so."
